I found out about this too late for this year, but we should get involed next year. Elves and More
Over 20,000 bikes given to underprivileged children in the Houston area. I'm going to look into it this tonight (21 Dec 2006). Let me know if you might be intrested in volunteering next year (or this year if you don't mind the short notice).
A new international bicycle courier magazine is being prepared to launch, and we need content of all forms from all over the world. If you would like to submit anything, it can be sent to submissions@CourierScum.com.
We are look ing for articles, stories, art, poems, music, or anything else related to the bicycle courier occupation, community, and culture. Currently we are not offering payment for submissions, but hopefuly that will change in the future.
